Well it looks to be another beautiful and productive day in the Pacific Northwest. Sunny with temperatures expected to be around 80 degrees, it’s Tracy’s birthday, interest rates are low which has catapulted loan refinances and purchase applications, and I will be doing an interview with Brian Stevens from the “Think Big Work Small” show that will be posted on their site later this week.
There is no doubt all this activity will leave me feeling a little worn down by the end of the day, but as promised I have one more project that I have been working on quietly behind the scenes that should keep me energized throughout the days, weeks, and (god willing) years. I am officially releasing my Blink of a Moment Blog : http://blinkofamoment.com. This website will follow my personal journey to beat the unbeatable, educate and bring awareness to brain cancer (GBM), highlight a variety of charitable organizations, and of course graciously thank the Hughes Troop supporters who have impacted my life and the lives of many others. It will be done so in the spirit of what the Hughes Troop movement is all about… overcoming our individual obstacles with relentless determination, a positive attitude, and gracious heart for the blessings we have in our lives.
This website and the countless hours that have gone into creating it, would not be possible without a good friend reaching out and asking how he could help me spread the word about my story. I want to personally thank my long time friend Justin Yoshimura from http://xklaim.com for the hooking me up with a free website, hosting it, and answering the 1,023,872 questions I had about creating the biggest impact with design, tags, posts, etc…. Justin, or as I like to call him “Yosh”) has been invaluable as this site was created. Please check out his website and give him some love for the tremendous patience and help he has given me this last month or so.
Please also take a moment to bookmark my new website, visit the links I have posted, and share the site with your friends and family. I will continue to improve and add more content to the site, as well as stay VERY active on the Hughes Troop Facebook page. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your support and belief in my family and I. Time to go win the day!
Fighting Forward!!
